Dr. Shireen Mazari, one of Pakistan’s most outspoken defense analysts, is sounding a warning alarm to all Pakistanis: US is offering an aid package that reads more like a treaty of surrender. She wonders why Pakistan’s officials are silent. We join her in spreading the word far and wide. Say no to America’s Honor-for-Dollars Program.

Shoved to the bottom of an irrelevent news-piece in The News is this revealing admission by Akbar Bugti’s son:
In reply to the allegations that many youth of Balochistan were going to Afghanistan and getting training in warfare, he asked what else they would do when they were not being treated as equal citizens of Pakistan.
Its a pity that these traitors are allowed to operate freely on Pakistan’s soil.
Forget Principles, It’s Another Dirty Trick
Nawaz Sharif’s reason for supporting Iftikhar Chaudhry one year ago was to get back at Musharraf, a glorified version of kindergarten revenge. Nothing more. Today, Mr. Sharif’s purpose is to grab the federal government. He believes his right to rule Pakistan was snatched away from him in 1999 and he wants it back. Aitzaz Ahsan is building a new career. With friends like these, who needs enemies?

First we had billboards on the roadsides depicting greater Afghanistan and now we have greater India calendars in the parliament. It is time we work on greater Pakistan and small India options, INSHALLAH. [Link to the story in DAWN]

So happy are the Indians with Mr. Sharif that they ordered their ambassador to travel to Lahore and personally deliver Manmohan Singh’s regards to him. Meanwhile, the disgruntled former premier continues to play the ‘Daughters Game’, distracting Pakistanis as the nation prepares for a possible war.
We have information that both Mr. Husain Haqqani and Mr. Husain Haroon, our ambassadors to the U.S. and U.N. respectively, were instructed by the Zardari-Gilani government to coordinate with the British and the American ambassadors to ensure that the name of former ISI chief Hameed Gul, in addition to other Pakistani citizens and organizations, are included in a Security Council resolution. We have a government with shady characters in key places, strongly backed by the Bush administration, acting and behaving as if they were representing a U.S. occupation government in Pakistan.
