BEIJING: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani called for greater cooperation between defence industries of Pakistan and China as an important step to fortify the all-weather strategic partnership between the two countries.
He said this in a meeting with Chen Qiufa, Administrator of China’s State Administration for Science, Technology & Industry for National Defence (SASTIND) who led a delegation of Chinese defence-related companies.
The Politicians – Zardari, Gilani, Rehman, Nawaz – Refuse To Condemn The Terrorism Of Akbar Bugti’s Grandson & His US/Indian Backed Terrorists In Afghanistan
Terrorists claiming to represent Pakistani Balochis are planning to declare ‘independence’ on 11 August 2009, according to BRASSTACKS. It will not change much on the ground but these terrorists and their supporters in Kabul, New Delhi and within CIA will score a major point against Islamabad. The pro-US government in Islamabad and even the Pakistani opposition are courting Washington and are silent against this emerging threat to the Pakistani state. No Pakistani politician is ready to call Akbar Bugti or Kabul-based Brahamdagh or London-based Harbyar Mari by their real designation as terrorists. Both President Zardari and Mr. Nawaz Sharif are silent accomplices in what they believe is a good opportunity to weaken the grip of the Pakistani military. Plans are also underway to create a ‘Pakistani Kurdistan’. Interior Minister Rehman Malik is yet to accuse Britain of giving safe haven to terrorists.
In the Sri Lankan cricket team case, Indian operatives crossed the border from Indian to join other Indian-origin or Indian-trained terrorists who traveled all the way from Afghanistan to Lahore
Indian terrorism training bases, intelligence outposts and personnel in Afghanistan identified
In some cases, Indian intelligence was indirectly supporting attacks against US soldiers in Afghanistan in order to worsen Pak-US military relations
India’s friends, advocates and lobbyists in Washington stunned
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was stunned when Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Reza Gilani handed him a dossier containing photographs of Brahamdagh Bugti and other terrorists meeting Indian agents not only in Afghanistan but also during their visits to India and the names of the Indian officials who met them. This was part of more evidence about India’s involvement in recruiting, training, financing and arming terrorists in Afghanistan and sending them to Pakistan. India’s links to the attack on the Sri Lanka cricket team in Lahore and other high profile terrorism cases have been established, shocking even Indian’s many advocates in Washington. Mr. Gilani gave this surprise to the Indians behind closed doors. Now India fears that Pakistan would use this meeting to expose Indian connections with two anti-Pakistan terrorist leaders and their foreign-funded terror armies: Brahamdagh Bugti and his BLA [Balochistan Liberation Army] and Baitullah Mehsud’s Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, both being supported from bases in US-controlled Afghanistan.
After months of arrogant behavior, the United States is conceding to some of Pakistan’s demands, like unconditional aid and a check on Indian terrorist activities against Pakistan using Afghan soil. But does Washington know that India wants a war in Afghanistan until the last American soldier?
PakNationalists presents this record that offers a compelling material to show how Pakistan’s existing nuclear policy is not only weak but is also robbing the nation of any advantages that could accrue from acquiring advanced nuclear technology.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—The Pakistani foreign office never tires of repeating the apologetic line about the strength of the country’s nuclear command.
But behind the scenes, there are signs that actions do not match words. There is a need now for some ‘nuclear arrogance’ in the Pakistani nuclear and defense establishments. Pakistani politicians are too busy in their political musical chair to be of any help. To save the situation, the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Pakistan Armed Forces will have to intervene to make the requisite changes. These changes should ensure the optimization of the diplomatic and the psychological advantage for a nuclear-armed Pakistan.
The irony is that the UN has more guts to criticize US drone policy than the Pakistani government whose 700 innocent citizens, mostly women and children, have been killed in exchange for 12 or 16 al Qaeda terrorists, whose death reports are questionable at best, considering that all US intelligence reports in recent years have been cooked.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—President Obama’s special envoy Richard Holbrooke landed the pro-U.S. Pakistani government in trouble when he told journalists that the issue of CIA-manned drones that have killed hundreds of innocent Pakistanis was not even raised in any one of his several meetings with senior Pakistani officials in the Pakistani capital.
Mr. Holbrooke’s terse answer during a briefing stunned Pakistanis who thought the controversial drones were at least the second most important issue on government’s list after the issue of the refugees from the military operation against terrorists.
Detailed analysis by Zaid Hamid on Rise and Shine, Waqt News TV, aired on May 22nd 2009. Topics covered include the current refugee situation, foreign aid and the rampant corruption within the Pakistani government, and the situation in Balochistan. Zaid Hamid also clears up all misconceptions and exposes the dangerous and misleading statements being made by our politicians and the media’s lack of maturity over it.
Also discussed is the strategy and reasons behind the current operation and the plan of action for the future, and the dirty political game being played in Karachi.
Prime Minister Gilani, Foreign Minister Qureshi and Interior Minister Malik are now talking about support for the terrorists – the so-called Pakistani Taliban – from Afghanistan. Why did Mr. Qureshi and Mr. Malik not mention this when both were in Washington? And why no one is taking up the venomous anti-Pakistan propaganda in the U.S. media? A weak official stand is adding to the confusion over the real meaning of the latest military operations in our northern and western belts. Suddenly we have American apologists inside Pakistan, including some political parties, claiming vindication for the exaggerated notion of ‘Talibanization’. Unfortunately, this is a sad example of using the occasion to settle scores in the secular-religious debate. It is about Pakistan making a final push against criminal militants in the north and the western belt adjoining Afghanistan after concluding that a large portion of this insurgency consists of shady terrorists and handlers pushed inside Pakistan from a neighboring country.
A role that our media ought to be playing but isn’t, Zaid Hamid exposes the covert war which CIA is waging against Pakistan, as he explains the current domestic scenario of Pakistan and the threats to our nationals security that we face
Pakistan’s enemies are preparing to deliver a decisive blow. Pakistan has suffered grievously on all counts and its very foundations have been jolted in the seven years of America’s occupation of Afghanistan. It is most unfortunate that in this gory plan, some of the political parties friendly to India, western sponsored NGOs, intellectuals and writers have also contributed towards disinformation campaign and bringing bad name to Pakistan.
This time the military followed what must be called the ‘Kayani Model’—invisible but around, fully informed and acting through well timed and effective influence in the right quarter. The preference was for the institution rather than any individual and there was no personal angle or ambition.
Don’t believe all the hype in the media and in newspapers. Truth is that both Zardari and Nawaz were cut down to size. The President’s powers have diminished, and Nawaz can’t use the lawyers again and has to work hard to regain his Punjab govt / Ahmed Quraishi
Why would President Asif Zardari accept reinstatement? Why Prime Minister had to do it at 5:45 AM? Was it really the lawyers Movement? What role did Army Chief General Kyani play? How was this decision taken? What will Nawaz Sharif get out of this? What is the litmus test for Chaudhry Iftikhar? Will he challenge NRO?
Listen to Zaid Hamid’s detailed analysis of these and many other questions that you may have regarding the current political circus in Pakistan.
February 8th, 2009 We are proud to present another eye-opening program by Zaid Hamid of Brasstacks which was not aired by NewsOne for reasons of his impromptu speech and bluntly true response on current political scenario of Pakistan and the plans of our enemies.
We request you to please forward these links to your friends and relatives throughout the world to strengthen our nation and prepare them to deal with traitors and enemies. If you cannot see the Google Video embedded player above, please use the following links to watch the video: PART 1 | PART 2
The MQM claims to represent the entire Urdu speaking population of Pakistan, which is false. The ANP claims to represent all the Pashtun. Which is false too. Both of them are anti-Pakistan parties and their leaderships have maintained close ties to India. Now both of them are governing Pakistan as part of a U.S.-brokered setup. And when the U.S. and India are working vigorously on multiple fronts to break up Pakistan, they have the perfect allies in this MQM-PPP-ANP government. Both MQM and ANP can ignite an ethnic war overnight. Pakistanis need to be wary of the so-called Provincial Autonomy bill presented by MQM. Patriotic Pakistanis who are members of these three parties need to keep an eye on their leaderships, especially their dealings with U.S. diplomats and their secret visits to America.
If Pakistan Government requesting China not to veto the UN resolution banning Jama’at-ud-Dawa wasn’t an eye opener for some, the latest shenanigans should put to rest any doubts on where the loyalties of those in charge in Islamabad lie.
As reported in DAWN, the Foreign Office recently scuttled a move for adoption of a resolution in the National Assembly asking US President Barack Obama to appoint an envoy on Kashmir or include the settlement of the dispute in the mandate of the US envoy on Afghanistan and Pakistan.
A top official of the Foreign Office blocked the move by setting aside a joint resolution approved by members from both the sides of the aisle, and came out with another version, excluding the call for sending a US envoy on Kashmir.
The move by Marvi Memon of the PML-Q was supported not only by her party’s leadership, but also by the PPP, PML-N, ANP, JUI-F, PPP-Sherpao and Fata MNAs. [Full Story]

Greater-India Calendar Circulated Among Parliamentarians
With traitors within our own government, Indians and RAW had the audacity to distribute greater India calendar in our own parliament. This government is the biggest security threat Pakistan faces today and all enemies thrive under their umbrella. First we had billboards on the roadsides depicting greater Afghanistan and now we have greater India calendars in the parliament. It is time we work on greater Pakistan and small India options, INSHALLAH. [Link to the story in DAWN]
There are conflicting signals about what is happening inside the Zardari government, and mixed signals on U.S. and India. Pakistani experts are now convinced that India’s ‘evidence’ regarding Mumbai is not watertight. But a pro-U.S. core within the Pakistani government is preventing Islamabad from talking openly about it. The Pakistani media and political class remain confused about priorities, discussing nonissues such as the marks of a daughter of a senior judge and political backstabbing when the country faces a gathering storm on its international borders. The debate within military circles is substantive. But the military won’t interfere.
Beware: Pakistanis trained and groomed by U.S. think tanks are being inserted into Pakistan’s corridors of power, planted to teach us, the uncouth Pakistanis, what our national interest is and how to achieve it. While we have no problem with U.S. per se, we do have a big problem with diktat. Behind the scenes, the Pakistani capital has become a battleground, pitching a pro-U.S. lobby in the government against Pakistani nationalists. The pro-American lobby wants Pakistan to forget how India is blocking our water and is exporting terrorism inside Pakistan. They want us to allow India access to Afghanistan and transform Pakistan’s Army into an Indo-American proxy force. For this plan to succeed, a maximum number of these turncoat Pakistanis have been mobilized. Gen. Durrani’s ouster is one dent in the armor. We need more of these dents.
Invisible hands in the government, close to Gen. Durrani, are working up the media against Prime Minister Gilani. Mr. Durrani has apparently been advised to uppe the ante. And lucky for Durrani, a media savvy member of the pro-U.S. group within the Zardari government is in Islamabad these days to help in dealing effectively with the media: Husain Haqqani.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—Mr. Prime Minister, your national security adviser has screwed up big time. His strange moves and actions prove that people appointed by President Zardari have brought Pakistani diplomacy down to its knees in the past six weeks. This was by design and not just incompetence.
Your prompt action of sacking Mr. M. A. Durrani restored the confidence of Pakistanis.
His crime is engineering his leaks in a way that make everyone think that Kassab’s links to Pakistan confirm Pakistan’s culpability in the crime.
Durrani’s Sacking Reveals How Pakistan Is Penetrated At The Top
M. A. Durrani was busy leaking information to embarrass Pakistan internationally. He was part of an influential group in Islamabad that worked overtime to ensure Pakistan accepted blame for Mumbai and initiated action against the military and ISI without verifying the so-called evidence. Mr. Durrani says his leaks had the blessings of President Zardari. Who are they working for? Alarmingly, Pakistan’s security stands breached at the highest levels in the capital, where shady individuals are working for foreign interests with impunity. It is time for a major purge to cleanse Pakistani government and politics of foreign assets. Mr. Durrani should be debriefed as to whose interests he was serving in his sensitive position.
Why is the Zardari government acting so apologetic and condemning Pakistan in the process? We don’t trust the Indians and they don’t trust us. That’s the way it is. The Mumbai attacks are not about the identity of Kassab. It is about how he reached there and how the attacks conveniently meet the interests of anti-Pakistan elements in India. It is time Pakistani officials started asking India the tough questions and expose what New Delhi is hiding from its own people.
A war with Pakistan is India’s opportunity to legitimize action beyond its borders –which is what superpowers do – and launch its new career as a U.S.-propped [and Bollywood-propped] ‘superpower’. Pakistan will have to match the challenge or accept Indian hegemony for the rest of the century. And while at it, time for Pakistani government and military to order the closure of CIA station in the Pakistani capital. The new American agenda in the region contradicts Pakistani interests. How can this be done? Please learn how the Saudis dealt with Edward W. Genhm.
Silence of Zardari -Gilani led Pakistan government in proceedings of UN Security Council raises many doubts and questions. Since the start of India’s aggressive campaign to brand Pakistan as a terrorist state, why have no diplomatic counter measures been taken? Why was an old time tested friend such China (probably the first time in Pakistan’s political history) not requested to veto the resolution? What was the real hurry in banning an organization which was once donated funds by UN in 2005, without a shred of evidence linking them to any illegal activities in or outside Pakistan? Why was our Government even more quicker in clamping operations of newly labeled terrorist organizations who were doing charity in Pakistan for hundreds of thousands of people which included Muslims, Hindus and Christians alike? Why the Government of Pakistan agreed to sent ISI Director General on a single call? And why did our Information Minister sound more like an Indian Information Minister when Indian Air force Fighter jets violated Pakistani airspace?
We have information that both Mr. Husain Haqqani and Mr. Husain Haroon, our ambassadors to the U.S. and U.N. respectively, were instructed by the Zardari-Gilani government to coordinate with the British and the American ambassadors to ensure that the name of former ISI chief Hameed Gul, in addition to other Pakistani citizens and organizations, are included in a Security Council resolution. We have a government with shady characters in key places, strongly backed by the Bush administration, acting and behaving as if they were representing a U.S. occupation government in Pakistan.
