Fall Over Of The Latest Stooge Of America Imminent And Fast Approaching

February 18, 2010

PKKH Editorial | Mahru Khaled and MS

“In the summer of 2001 some Predators were equipped with two of Lockheed’s Hellfire AGM-114 laser-guided anti-tank missiles [$45,000 apiece]. So far there are four reported cases of the Predator-Hellfire combination being used. Two of these attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 13 innocent civilians.”

“On February 4, 2002, a Predator drone fired a Hellfire missile at ‘three tall men’ believed to be Al Qaeda members because they were clothed in long robes. The three men were later revealed to be poor people scavenging for metal in the Zhawar Kili battlefields. Families of the villagers were furious over the deaths of Daraz Khan, Jehangir Khan and Mir Ahmed. The 16 year-old niece of Daraz Khan said:  “Why did you do this? Why did you Americans kill Daraz? We have nothing, nothing, and you have taken from us our Daraz.”

These are just few of the unheard stories of our beloved countrymen in tribal areas of Pakistan, who not only represent a very vital part of the nation’s stature, but also have stood by Pakistan in every hour of need and never have thought twice on giving any sacrifices for their homeland; who not only just live at one of our most mercurial borders but also assist our forces in guarding it.

Pak overture to Turkey for attack drones worries India

January 27, 2010

NEW DELHI: Finding the US not overly helpful on arming it with drones and drone technology, Pakistan has now made overtures to the Turkish army

During his recent visit to Islamabad, US defence secretary Robert Gates promised the gift of 12 drones for surveillance. But the 12 RQ-7 Shadow drones cannot send in Reaper or Hellfire missiles which would make them truly lethal and would have provoked an immediate outcry from India. However, experts believe this is dangerous stuff anyway, and it will not take much for Pakistan to reverse engineer them or tailor them for needs other than spying on the Taliban, in other words, to target India.

Needless to add, Pakistan was less than overwhelmed by the offer. Therefore, Indian sources said, Pakistan is now approaching their its friends in the Turkish army for this technology. The Turks were given drones, both attack and surveillance ones, by the Israelis as they battle the Kurds. Whether they are persuaded to part with these for the Pakistanis is another matter, and likely to involve a lot of pre-emptive Indian diplomacy.

India is finding less and less to be positive about in the Pakistan-Afghanistan theatre.

Missile strike could complicate Pakistan battle

October 21, 2009

PKKH | EXCLUSIVE

Just when the Pakistan Army has started a major operation against TTP and foreign militants in South Waziristan the US Military has started to stab Pakistan in the back again. First there are confirmed reports that US and NATO troops have moved back from border area surrounding South Waziristan and have given a big escape route for TTP to move back into Afghanistan.

Before starting this operation, Pakistan Army had won the loyalty of Hafiz GulBahadur, and Maulvi Nazir. Now when the operation is in full swing, and hard fought battle is raging on, when brave sons of Pakistan Army are sacrificing their lives for their nation, US drone handlers are hitting missiles at pro-Pakistan Taliban based in Waziristan so as to ignite them into joining Takfiri TTP.

This should be a lesson and a  wake up call for Pakistan Army and the entire Pakistani nation that US is double crossing us openly and the US always had ill-intention towards Pakistan. US interest can never align with Pakistan’s interest. It is imperative that all treaties or agreements done between President Musharaf and President Zardari with the US must be bought before media and canceled. Pakistan Army should cut off the NATO supply line from Karachi until Indian Consulates stop sending terrorists into Pakistan and until Drone attacks stop.

Who is behind TTP’s Terrorists?

May 23, 2009

Baitullah Mehsud is rolling in dollars and has access to highly sophisticated light weaponry. He is also in possession of highly sophisticated communication equipment, or homing devices in other words. The Pakistan army has been asking the US for help in ‘taking out’ Mehsud and has on at least four different occasions provided the US with accurate information of his location over a period of twelve to twenty four after the US was informed, but he was never targeted.

How many times will we be fooled by the US?

April 18, 2009

Shireen M Mazari

So Senator Kerry has come to do the usual doublespeak to the Pakistani people through its already confused leadership! Like the other US leaders before him, his understanding of Pakistan ran skin deep at best as he tried to justify the drones by declaring that terrorism existed in Pakistan before these attacks. Oh what a revelation Senator; but we all know qualitative difference between the pre- and post-9/11 status of terrorism in Pakistan. And, while some elitist part time residents and drawing room analysts (the very group that they seem to decry) of the capital may see drones as merely red herrings, the fact is that drones have killed almost 900 innocent Pakistanis between 2006 and 2009 and only 10 Al Qaeda targets.

No Laws For Drones

April 1, 2009

42-15237897Brian Cloughley

Obama’s policy is clear: drone-launched missile attacks will continue inside the territory of any nation because he considers that international custom and law do not apply to America. He is endorsing a dreadful precedent, and may well come to regret his decision to permit these illegal forays.

India operates Israeli drones and is receiving more. It is possible it could obtain missile-firing Hermes 450s, like the ones that blitzed Sudan and Gaza. And if India believes that there is an installation in Pakistan whose occupants it considers to be terrorists, will it then follow the American example and launch drone-borne missiles to kill people on Pakistan’s soil? What would Mr Obama say about that? Would he condemn the action?

The New Balochistan Disaster Movie

March 21, 2009

By Pepe Escobar

The “strategic reviewers” of United States President Barack Obama’s “good war” in Afghanistan are almost finished. Even before the new policy is set in stone – in Badakshan’s famed lapis lazuli, maybe? – by Obama himself within the next few days (with sensitive covert aspects of course withheld from public opinion), its contours are raising many an eyebrow.

The new mix will likely feature an ongoing wild goose chase for “good Taliban”; an expanded Central Intelligence Agency-operated drone war (a George W Bush policy decision); assorted CIA and special forces cross-border attacks (also a Bush policy decision); more carrots for the Pentagon-friendly Pakistani army (and Inter-Services Intelligence); more US troops in Afghanistan (starting with the announced 17,000 who will hit Helmand province before summer); and more training for the Afghan army.

US Drone shot down in FATA: What’s next?

March 9, 2009

talibanlaghmanraiterfn2

The expected has happened. Rupee News had already looked into the seeds of time and we had already predicted that one of these days the drone would be shot down. “Charlie Wilson’s War” gave too much credit to the stingers. The company line is that the CIA was responsible for the Russian defeat. While in reality it was the much maligned Pakhtuns who bled the Russians – stinger or no stinger.

How Much Sovereignty Has Pakistan Conceded?

February 28, 2009

Forget about Shamsi airbase in Balochistan. The Americans are using that one for Iran. There is an altogether different base for the drones in Balochistan. It’s a Pakistani piece of land that no Pakistani knows what’s inside. In fact, Pakistani air defense personnel are stationed inside the U.S. Embassy compound in Islamabad, where they ensure that CIA drones fly safely to kill Pakistanis and return to the base unharmed.
