Kabul’s Fall Imminent? Taliban Attack In Force As Karzai’s ‘Negotiate’ Offer Rejected

January 18, 2010

DAWN, Pakistan

KABUL: The Taliban launched a wave of gun and bomb attacks on Kabul on Monday, with at least 13 people injured as fierce fighting erupted in the heart of the Afghan capital.

Latest reports stated that four of the suicide bombers have died. Two suicide bombers blew themselves up and another two died in clashes, an interior ministry spokesman said. The two attackers killed by security forces had holed themselves up in a building in central Kabul, Zemarai Bashary said.

“We can confirm that four suicide bombers have been killed,” he told Al Jazeera television. He said some militants were still inside the Ariana Cinema, shooting at security forces who had surrounded the building.

“We suspect there are more bombers in the cinema building,” he said.Al Jazeera television reported that the Serena Hotel, Kabul’s only five-star hotel, is also on fire.

A series of explosions rocked Kabul, with smoke billowing out of at least two shopping centres, and intense gun battles raged between militants and Afghan security forces as police and military snipers patrolled rooftops.

“It is our work, the targets are the (presidential) palace, the finance, justice and mines ministries, and the central bank,” a purported Taliban spokesman told AFP by telephone from an undisclosed location.

Terrorists Strike Lahore

October 15, 2009

Armed terrorists have struck in Lahore this morning in a series of co-ordinated attacks at police training centres and the office of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Police said two of the attacks were over but one, at the Elite Police Training School, was continuing, with reports of explosions and intermittent gunfire. Helicopters hovered overhead as authorities deployed paramilitary forces across Punjab province.

According to reports, the attackers included women, which is a new tactic employed by the terrorists in Pakistan.

Terrorist attacks have escalated in Pakistan since last week, targetting security officials after the Armed Forces raised concerns over the ‘Kerry-Luger’ aid bill.

According to Pakistan’s former ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) chief Gen. Retd. Hamid Gul, when asked about where the TTP is getting funded and armed from, replied without hesitation:

“Of course they are getting it from across the Durand line, from Afghanistan. And the Mossad is sitting there, RAW is sitting there — the Indian intelligence agency — they have the umbrella of the U.S. And now they have created another organization which is called RAMA. It may be news to you that very soon this intelligence agency — of course, they have decided to keep it covert — but it is Research and Analysis Milli Afghanistan. That’s the name. The Indians have helped create this organization, and its job is mainly to destabilize Pakistan.”

Pakistani Patriots: Response to GHQ Attack

October 10, 2009

Aquib Moin | PakistanKaKhudaHafiz.com

On October 10, 2009, we witnessed an attempt to target the Pakistan Army GHQ in Rawalpindi.

We take this as a direct assault on the National security, sovereignty, integrity and dignity of the State of Pakistan. We suggest and recommend that the following measures should be taken to respond to this serious attempt of sabotaging Pakistan’s National Secutiry:

a) Zardari and at least his erstwhile con Rehman Malik should be thrown out of the avenues of power immediately and must be interrogated regarding the permission of entrance granted to the suspicious US personnel, allowing illegal weapons in the Federal capital and conspiring activities of foreign secutiry agencies like Inter-Risk, DynCorp etc and their possible link with today’s attack.

Terrorists Killing Pakistanis With Indian / American Weapons

June 1, 2009

Dan Qayyum, PakistanKaKhudaHafiz.com

Finally, the military admits what Pakistan’s pro-U.S. government has been hiding for months. The weapons that the terrorists – the fake Pakistani Taliban – are using to kill Pakistanis are coming from U.S. and India. Some members of the Karzai puppet regime have privately confirmed to Pakistani officials that they are incapable of stopping Indian terrorist activities on Afghan soil. To avoid embarrassment, Washington quickly ‘leaked’ a story that U.S. weapons given to Afghan security forces have reached insurgents. The timing of the leak conveniently coincided with the Pakistani army discovering the American double game. The Americans have been taking Pakistan for a ride for seven years.

Confirmed: TTP Using Indian/US Weapons

May 31, 2009

Dan Qayyum, PakistanKaKhudaHafiz.com

42-21901647

Briefing reporters about the progress of operation Rahe Rast, military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas yesterday revealed the extent of foreign support that the TTP terrorists are getting from Afghanistan. Large caches of weapons of US and INDIAN origin have been found as the security forces completely secure control of Mingora city, destroying various training centres of terrorists and killing important militant commanders, the military said.

The Americans have their excuses in order – Earlier this year it was revealed that over 200,000 US weapons – including assault rifles and grenade launchers – are ‘missing’ from the US army’s inventory in Afghanistan. The US army is unable to provide serial numbers for a large number of the missing weapons and no records have been maintained for the location or disposition for the rest.

The Pakistan Army, quite rightly has told the Americans to stop worrying about Pakistan’s nuclear weapons and start worrying about the weapons ‘lost’ in Afghanistan.

Coming to the issue of Indian made weapons found in Swat – India claims its consulates in Afghanistan only issue visas for Afghan tourists to India and runs scholarship programmes for Afghan students. The Indians also claim their presence in Afghanistan is limited to reconstruction and aid efforts.

Is Rehman Malik Blaming ISI For Lahore Attack?

March 30, 2009

policeattack_ap608

Time to cut off rail, air, and road links with India, including denying Indian airlines the right to use Pakistan airspace and denying Indian overland trade to Central Asia pending the investigations and a review by Pakistan of Indian activities inside and around Pakistan.

Ahmed Quraishi

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—A second Mumbai-style attack in Lahore in less than a month, both targeting Lahore, a city that has traditionally bore the brunt of Indian-inspired terrorism inside Pakistan.

The level of training of these people and the choice of targets leaves little doubt that someone is trying to teach Pakistan a lesson. It is baffling to see Interior Advisor Rehman Malik so eager to quickly pin the blame on groups such as Lashkar Tayyeba or Lashkar Jhangvi that were active in the Kashmir freedom struggle in the past and are dormant now. Accusing these groups is an indirect swipe at the Pakistani security and intelligence agencies that implemented State policy in the past of supporting the freedom fighters inside the disputed territory with India.

India Strikes Again: Where is Zardari – Gilani Govt?

March 30, 2009

Block India’s Land And Air Routes until Pending Investigations

This is the Indian surgical strike, second in row after the attack on Sri Lankan Cricket team. This is the topper from RAW in addition to the insurgency created across Pakistan. We need to rise as one nation, well over our personal strifes and interests. ‘Human Intelligence’ should be the order of the day; people fully backing the government with knowledge, wisdom, vigilance and unity, and the government assigning full support in letter and spirit to the ISI and Armed Forces of the country. The media, emissaries, diplomats and special delegations must strongly speak of Pakistan’s case in the historic perspective and present situation. The land and air passage given to India for access to Afghanistan should be immediately stopped, war alert be declared, and special prayers be offered seeking blessings and help from God The All Mighty to save the honor and sovereignty of our most beloved motherland. Welfare and Sovereignty of Pakistan is of paramount importance for the world, particularly for the region and the West, take my word for this.

Pakistan: Cut Off All India Links

March 5, 2009

Pending Lahore Investigations

The Pakistani intelligence report released by The News confirms two things: It is time for Pakistan to take punitive measures against India and stop allowing India the use of Pakistani transit and air routes pending the Lahore probe and, two, that the U.S.-installed government in Islamabad facilitated the attack on the Sri Lankan team first by ignoring the intelligence warnings and then by trying to protect India after the attack. Considering that Pakistan is supporting Sri Lanka against the Indian-sponsored insurgency in that country, the actions by the PPP government raise disturbing questions.

Sri Lankan Cricketers Targeted in Lahore

March 3, 2009

Indian Involvement Suspected

Terror struck at the heart of cricket when masked gunmen attacked the bus carrying the Sri Lankan cricket team to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Sources within the security establishment had been aware of an imminent attack being planned by Research & Analysis Wing – India’s premier intelligence agency.

“We had been picking up chatter and had received important information from the R&AW terrorists arrested in recent weeks. An attack was imminent. We had prepared for any eventuality and Alhamdolillah we were able to avert a major catastrophe. The security team fought bravely”, said a source on condition of anonymity.

Five cricketers, including Mahela Jayawardene, the Sri Lankan captain, and his deputy Kumar Sangakkara, received minor injuries. The attack left five security men dead.

Sports producer Gavin Scovell said security teams responded quickly.

“The guards were brilliant. They weren’t panicking. They were very calm,” Scovell said. “It must have been a terrifying experience, but they handled it well.”

Indian politicians and diplomats have been campaigning hard to have Pakistan declared a terrorist state, in recent weeks. The Indian Cricket Board also made its displeasure known at Sri Lanka’s decision to tour Pakistan, after India pulled out of the tour in the wake of Mumbai attacks.

The attack in Lahore is designed to damage the strong relations Pakistan shares with Sri Lanka. Pakistan has excellent relations with Sri Lanka and has given training and supplied arms to the Sri Lankan military fighting the Indian-backed Tamil Tiger rebels.

The attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers comes just a day after Sri Lankan state media published photographs and videos of Indian ministers including MDMK chief Vaiko, with LTTE supremo V Prabhakaran.

This is declaration of war by India: Nabil Gabol

Minister of State Nabil Ahmed Gabol said India is behind the attack on Sri Lanka’s cricket team in Lahore on Tuesday, saying the attackers had crossed into Pakistan from India.

“The evidence which we have got shows that these terrorists entered from across the border from India,” Gabol told Geo News.

“This was a conspiracy to defame Pakistan internationally. This incident took place in reaction to 26/11,” he said. It is a declaration of open war on Pakistan by India,” said the minister.
