Transit route to India – a threat to Pakistani interests

The recent MOU signed by Pakistani and Afghan ministers in US to give India a transit facility for trade with Afghanistan through Pakistan will certainly undermine Pakistan’s economic and security interests vis-à-vis Afghanistan. Indian’s consulates in Afghanistan have already been involved in nurturing insurgencies inside Pakistan. The article sheds light on the disastrous aspects of the treaty.
