Names of 30/3 Martyrs
March 31, 2009“And do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah, ‘they are dead’. In fact, they are alive but you do not perceive that life.”
Quran (2:154)
Chalay jo hoge shahadat ka jaam pi ke tum,
tumhe watan ki hawayein salam kehti hein [listen]

The funeral prayers of seven police officials, who embraced martyrdom while fighting during the terrorist attack on Police training centre Munawan, was offered in Lahore today at the Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh. Their coffins were wrapped in the national and police flags. After the prayers, the police presented guard of honour to the martyred officials who sacrificed their lives for a noble cause.
Inna lillah wa inna ‘ilayhi raji’un. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of our martyrs. May Allah grant them patience and ease their pain. We stand united with you in this time of sorrow.

(2:154) And do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah, “they are dead.” In fact, they are alive but you do not perceive that life.

assalamualikum all,
My deepest sympathies for all the policemen and their families who fell victim to this notorious act of terrorism.
My request is directed towards the entire ummah and Pakistanis in particular. We have to be objective and we have change our character. We have to stand up and unite. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said, “if you see oppression stop it with your hands, if you cannot then speak against, if cannot even speak against then feel bad in your heart; this is the lowest level of faith”. Muslims, we cannot afford to be in lowest level of faith especially at the time of crisis of such magnitude. I think all Pakistanis should demand a comprehensive investigation on current government. We have to let go of our petty greives and differences. We must not allow oppression at any level. May Allah guide all of us in the right path, the way our beloved Prophet(A.S). We have to defend our honour, our land. We cannot leave all the responsibility on our law enfocement forces. If we are capable and healthy then we will all be questionable before Allah. We have to defend innocent lives. May Allah help us
Wasalamualikum
