India Upset about Pakistan’s Brazilian Missiles
January 10, 2009The Indian Air Force has taken note of Pakistan’s latest acquisition of 100 anti-radiation missiles (ARM) from Brazil. The missile is an air-to-surface weapon used for destroying air defence ground radars.
Pakistan bought the missiles from Brazil last month. Brazil’s decision to go ahead with the deal at the height of tension in the subcontinent has surprised Indian defence experts.
The missile has a maximum range of 25 km and has a 200 pound warhead. Fired from fighter jets, it seeks and destroys air defence radars even when they are deactivated.
well they need training for that, before they launch Indians will surprise them.
Should have brought the British missiles, far superior. The above require ‘wild weasel’ attacks where you fly around and wait to get targeted – the british missiles are fired into the target area and float down on a paracute, if any radars turn on it fires ballisticlly at them so is a great deterant. Saying that the US got around the problem in ’91 by using a massive wave of decoy planes, drones and UAV’s to attract fire and get teh radar stations to reveal themselves. Very expensive but was massively successful.

Accidents do happen – the British never thought when leaving the Sub-continent it would have not one but two nuclear powered countries – that’s dismaying news for the Brits.The British will never supply any kind of technology to Pakistan – for them Pakistan is still a former colony.
The fact that Brazil was happy to supply Pakistan with the technology it needed – may indicate that India is not too popular in South America.

If you look at history… The British did everything in their power to create a weak Pakistan… It is only the resilience and determination of the Pakistani people that has gotten us this far.

Even the date of the creation of Pakistan was brought forward to give the fledgling nation less time to prepare itself.

All I want to say to Indians is don’t forget that we muslims ruled you for 800 years and gave u honor and dignity. Those muslims came enroute Afghanistan, through Pakistan and captured Delhi. This history can be repeated once the regional muslim countries get their act together. That time is not so far. Maybe another 50 years or maybe less.
This is our desire that Indians should take panga with Pakistan and then this would provide us the best opportunity to teach them a lesson which they will not forget till the end of this world.After the laps of so many years they havent been able to develop a ordinary anti-tank missle called”Nag”what the hell thay are going to do with so called Agni missile????
